The Kidney Disease Screening and Awareness Program (KDSAP) is a novel program initiated by Kidney Foundation Kerala.

Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is a progressive condition in which kidneys don’t work as well as they should to filter waste, toxins, and fluids from your body—which can cause serious health problems. CKD has 5 stages and progression can eventually lead to kidney failure, also known as end stage renal disease (ESRD). Treatments for kidney failure include kidney transplant and dialysis, both of which can help people with ESRD keep living the life they love.

So far we have conducted 162 Kidney disease awareness and prevention programs in schools, colleges, Institutions etc.
