Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is a highly prevalent condition in Kerala.
The most common cause is diabetes and/or hypertension. It can lead to end-stage kidney disease which requires treatment to replace lost kidney function. Kidney function replacement requires either a kidney transplant or some form of dialysis.
Remarkable progress has been made in the last few years in the diagnosis and management of CKD. KFK is at the forefront of research and discovery, as well as delivery of contemporary care for CKD.

So far we have conducted 155 Free early detection of kidney disease Medical Camps in all the districts of Kerala.
